James Langford (jamesl) > Lightning Storm over Dallas, Texas Skyline (Summer of 2004) - This was shot from Crowe Park, just outside Dallas. An intense storm had swept down from Oklahoma and passed through Dallas, leaving this incredible lightning display in it's wake.

The buildings of the Dallas skyline create bleeds of color in their reflection on the water.

Lightning arcs across the sky over downtown Dallas. A series of strong summer storms had pounded the Dallas area 30 minutes before this shot was taken. The storms had knocked out several of the green argon tubes in the building pictured here. After the storms had passed, I was treated to several hours of very photogenic lightning. This was captured with my Canon 10D and 20mm lens.
